Alabama/Tennessee Adrenal Specialist Needed

I have been suffering with insomnia,fatigue, and pain for 3 years. On Armour thyroid and TRT but still have the insomnia, fatigue, and pain.

Would like to find an Adrenal doctor in the North or Middle Alabama area(Huntsville/Birmingham) or the Southern Middle Tennessee area (Nashville/Chattanooga).

I have been to about 5 doctors so far with no help.

Blood work shows low DHEA, progresterone, but in range cortisol. However, my 24 hr adrenal saliva test shows low cortisol and inverse curve.

Chiropractor put me on some adrenal supplements that have helped but no where near 100%.

I need my life back! All help is greatly appreciated.

I recommend Dr. Thomas Klinner in Ooltewah, TN. I just started seeing him, but the results of the blood work matched what he expected which didn't happen with my previous doctor. My friend also goes there has she started getting better immediately.

Does Dr. Smithson believe in using Cortef? I actually think I have adrenal insufficiency and believe it can not be reversed. I am looking for replacement therapy. Thanks for the suggestion on BodyLogic. Let me know if he believes in using Cortef.

I just saw Dr. David Smithson in Birmingham at Bodylogic. He did complete blood work for hormones as well as saliva test. Changed all my thyroid meds and diagnosed Adrenal Fatigue. Recommended J J Virgins Diet to eliminate food sensitivitites. First day on diet I stopped craving sugar. I have just started meds but feel comfortable that they will help.
