I have been seeing an Endocrinologist since my Laparoscopic adrenalectomy surgery, which I had a year ago. So far, each blood test revealed no movement of my remaining adrenal producing cortisol naturally. She keeps increasing my steroids, assuring me the process can take a year or two, sometimes longer for my other adrenal to "wake up" and start functioning on its own. I'm not convinced. I feel constantly fatigued, all over body aches, sleeplessness, irritability, and other symptoms. Please contact me at ShoshanaShira(AT)yahoo.com if you have any resources in the Boston area for someone good that can treat this! Thanks.
